Job Description
We are seeking an Admin and Accounts Assistant to join our Dubai office. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth financial operations and administrative support for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in administration, bookkeeping, or accounts, with proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero) and CRM systems (preferably Zoho).
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Management:
- Issue daily sales invoices and upload purchase invoices into the accounting system.
- Perform day-to-day reconciliations of accounts and banking transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of accruals and other financial activities.
- Handle credit control and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare and provide the CEO with weekly reports on payables and receivables.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage documentation and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain organized operations.
- CRM and Reporting:
- Use the CRM system to manage client interactions and data (preferably Zoho).
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of financial and client information.
Requirements
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role with accounts or bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Proven experience using accounting software, ideally Xero.
- Familiarity with CRM systems; Zoho experience is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Qualities:
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving.
- High integrity and discretion when handling financial data.
